Beale St. is Memphis' most famous street and is known around the world for its blues, booze, and laid back atmosphere. On Beale St., you will see more of Memphis' historic charm in it's preserved buildings dating back to the late 1800's. Don't worry about cars, this street does not see car traffic but welcomes thousands of visitors each day.
